The Dodgers had their @ss handed to them at Chavez-Revine by none other than the lowly Giants in a divisional game 19-3 . Hunter Pence hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs . There would have been no way in hell , that the Braves would have allowed the Giants to rack up nineteen runs against them in a game and your supposition that the Dodgers has the better pitching ? Well based on last night , that most certainly is not the case . You obviously have not looked at the NL stats in terms of the teams' pitching over the course of the season ., As good as Kershaw has been that is essentially all the Dodgers appear to have at present .

It's no use in waiting because the NCAA has lost what little integrity it was said to have . So why bother as any verdict has to be considered a joke , considering the NCAA's conducting their investigation . Incompetence and stupidity rules and it appears to be the norm now in the way the country conducts its business in public and private .

We may never get to know because the idiot investigstors from the NCAA Infractions Committee having lost some evidence went about fabricating replacement documentation and some taped evidence thereby rendering that complete investigation as such tainted and worth a damn . The incompetency that there now is at all levels of college athletics is beyond belief . If those idiots were in my employment , their @ass would have been kicked to the curb long ago . Here in the US you guys willingly accept mediocrity and apathy as the norm and that is why the country no longer commands any respect globally ,. It is left to scurrilous dumb ass Conservative still trying espouse what no longer clearly is not there to be seen on any level .

Case in point anyone who believes that this agreement between the US and Russia concerning Syria's chemical weapons' arsenal is a guarantee of an abatement in the ongoing violence has to be a complete idiot ., Obama will undoubtedly try to cache this as a glowing effort of diplomacy . Clearly , he has no idea as to what Vladimir Putin is all about .

Having John Kerry as Secretary of State is akin to having Sarah Palin become the nation's CIA or FBI Director . Intelligence is not Palin's or Kerry's greatest gift or strength .

Former basketball player Glen Rice, who is alleged to have had a one-time fling with Sarah Palin, thought the former Alaska Governor was 'a sweetheart' and 'respectful,' according to a new book.

Allegations that Rice and Palin hooked up, according to Joe McGinniss's The Rogue: Searching For The Real Sarah Palin, due out on September 20, exploded on the web on Wednesday.

The initial story came out of a National Enquirer report about the book that claimed the the former Michigan basketball standout and John McCain's vice presidential selection had a one-time relationship in 1987.

Rice was a junior at Michigan playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska.

At the time, Palin was known as Sarah Heath and was a sports reporter for the Anchorage television station KTUU-TV.

In Janet Maslin's review for the New York Times, she wrote: 'While Mr Rice avoids specifics and uses the words "respectful" and "a sweetheart," Mr McGinniss eggs him on with the
kind of flagrantly leading question he seems to have habitually asked.

'In Mr. Rice's case: "So you never had the feeling she felt bad about having sex with a black guy?"' The alleged affair happened just nine months before she would elope, pregnant, with her husband Todd.

With her unruly mullet and a stuttering style, the young
anchorwoman, who would have been just 24 at the time, looks a far cry from the polished and controlled 'hockey mom' who would run for vice president two decades later.

The new book also claims Mrs Palin had a six month affair with one of her husband's colleagues while they were married, as well as snorting cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum and separately smoking marijuana in secret liaisons with one of her college professors.

The revelations, which have shocked America, could strike a
devastating blow to the controversial politician's hopes of joining the 2012 presidential race.

The book is written by Joe McGinniss, an author who moved in next door to the Palins in Alaska to dig dirt for his salacious biography.

In response, Todd Palin last night slammed the author as a 'stalker' who has a 'creepy obsession' with Mrs Palin.

Al Golden was a party to it all , but when pressed on the issue by local journalist ,. he simply deflected the questions by stating that there was an ongoing investigation . One of his assistants who still remains on his staff is said to have been a willing participant acting as an intermediary between Shapiro and several of the players on the football team.

There were suggestions though not substantiated that the head coach arranged times and places for clandestine meetings with the now incarcerated Nevin Shapiro .

This whole episode is unsavory and made even worse by the fact that the NCAA Infractions Committee simply ,messed up the investigation of the Miami Hurricanes by the sheer volume of their complete incompetency .

Golden may have cut corners in recruiting like many other coaches do. But I don't think Al Golden sanctioned or approved of players being paid at Miami after he was hired. So I don't think Golden will be fired.

But again, I think nearly every head coach in major college football, even the so-called clean programs breaks the rules to a certain extent. And it's so rampant, that it's not considered breaking rules because everybody does it.

The system is so corrupt, that a coach who follows the rules but doesn't win games will be fired sooner than a coach who breaks the rules and wins. It's been going on for decades and it will continue, because no one wants to take a step back and do what's right by holding people accountable. It's all a sham.

The actions were ongoing and Golden had Nev Shapiro (booster now incarcerated in a federal facility) on the Canes` campus as did University President Donna Shalala as recently as 2011 . So please explain to me how he isn`t at all implicated in this mess ? Payments were still being made to players on the basketball and football teams at the time .

Al Golden wasn't the head coach at Miami when the NCAA violations took place, so he won't be fired. In fact Miami knew an investigation into their program was imminent when they hired Golden, but they didn't tell him about it. Golden was blindsided when news of the investigation hit. So Golden might leave Miami when the hammer comes down, and he would be justified in doing so.

Turnovers killed Florida in that game, and they just didn't have success in the red zone. However, I have to give a lot of credit to Al Golden, as he continues to build Miami back into a winning program, even though they may go on probation at some point in the foreseeable future.

And instead of tightening up and enforcing the rules already on the books, many will push for a move to pay college players outright. Which is basically saying it's too hard to enforce the rules we have, so lets just quit trying. Which will make things even worse, because once you start paying athletes, some school will always end up paying more than others.

Muschamp`s recruiting class for 2012 and this year was said to be amongst the best in the nation , but that has not been borne out by the team`s play or results this season .

Team's pass offense is that bad but it is the inconsistency that needs to be addressed.

The Gators definitely need to take a look at their QB recruiting. Jeff Driskel hasn't lived up to his hype as recruit, and Muschamp may want to take a look at someone else if Driskel can't get it going.

Again, this happens because the NFL has no minor league. With the NCAA acting as the minor league for the NFL, there will always be a conflict because elite players have no other option but to play football for colleges. And some colleges will pay these players. It's like I said, cheating in the college football is no longer the exception, it's the rule.

And I'm sure there are many schools that have "hostesses" having sex with recruits. It may not be organized like at Oklahoma State, but it happens none the less. I've also said, you'll see many more scandals like this popping up.

The Florida Gators were complacent and took the Canes far too lightly .

All Notre Dame seeks to do an annual basis is win a minimum of seven to eight games ..... < to guarantee themselves a Bowl Bid . It`s as plain and as simple as that .
